From interval to a finished daily route
Plants need care on fixed rhythms, typically every two to four weeks. In blueplant you define a care interval per location, and appointments and series are generated automatically, months ahead or as an endless series. blueplant suggests the appointment duration based on the product inventory: a location with 46 plants doesn’t get a 30-minute slot.
No location gets forgotten, and dispatch plans ahead instead of reacting: they see what is due before the customer calls.
Dispatch with a real overview
On the planning board you dispatch the day without jumping between calendar, spreadsheets and phone:
- Move appointments by drag & drop; blueplant warns when an employee’s appointments overlap
- Assign staff and vehicles, matched to skills and capacity
- Working hours, vacation and sick days flow straight into planning: you only schedule people who are actually available
- Adjust series without rebuilding everything, and copy appointments when one week looks like the last
Drive times in view, sequence in your hands
blueplant shows the drive times and distances between stops while you sequence the daily route by drag & drop. The tour starts and ends either at your company site or at the employee’s home address, the way your tours actually begin.
You decide the order: whoever knows the business and its customers plans better than a black box. blueplant supplies the numbers, so unnecessary kilometres show up immediately.
Coordinated with the customer
Some locations need a coordinated appointment, others don’t: you set that per location. Where coordination is needed, you propose the appointment to the customer, and they confirm or decline; the status is visible right on the appointment. No phone tag, no sticky notes saying “call Ms Miller back”.
On the road: start, pause, complete
The plant technician starts the appointment in the app, can insert breaks and completes it. The office sees the status in real time: planned, in progress, done. If a colleague is out, another one takes over the appointment with the running list and all location details. And if a status was set wrongly, you correct the history in the office instead of living with wrong numbers.
Calculate with real numbers
Does the plan match reality? Right in the appointment overview, blueplant shows the average appointment duration across the currently filtered set of completed appointments: the actual time net of breaks, set against the planned duration, plus the deviation in minutes and percent and the number of appointments included.
Filter by a customer, a location or an employee, and you see immediately where appointments regularly run longer than planned. Outliers become visible, and you recalculate intervals and routes with measured durations instead of gut feeling.
On the Starter plan, series run up to 6 months with one interval per location; route and tour planning and appointment takeover are part of Professional.
