Documentation that happens along the way
Plant technicians capture care results right at the plant via the mobile app, offline-capable, in seconds. Nobody types things up in the evening, nobody transfers paper notes: the same capture produces the plant history and the customer’s service record.
What gets recorded on site
- Water level and plant condition per product; whether the water level is captured is your company’s choice
- Photos straight from the camera, as evidence and for the history
- Reasons instead of gaps: if a plant couldn’t be found or the room was inaccessible, that is part of the result instead of simply missing
- Quick care as the default: confirm trouble-free plants in bulk, full capture stays the exception
Calling problems by their name
The app records issues in a structured way instead of free text: lighting too dark or too bright, temperature too cold or too warm, watering too much or too little. Pest infestation is documented by species: aphids, scale insects, mealybugs, spider mites, thrips, fungus gnats or whiteflies.
The difference to a paper note: this data can be analysed. Recurring infestation at one location, or a room where plants keep struggling, shows up as a pattern before the customer notices.
The history of every plant
Every result hangs off the product: the care history shows in the app and in the office what happened to this plant and when, with photos and problems. After each visit, the appointment review delivers the overview: all results as a table, plus statistics by success and capture type. And if something was recorded wrongly on the go, you correct the result afterwards.
From care result to service record
From the completed appointment, blueplant generates the service record with prefilled positions: plants cared for, captured additional services such as repotting or pest treatment, working times if you want them. You check, add a remark, done.
The record goes out as a PDF by email to the recipient defined per customer, with CC/BCC as needed, the same day. For your records, download documents in bulk as a ZIP; the dispatch history per record stays traceable.
Signed before you leave the site
The customer signs right on the smartphone at the appointment: no paper slips that need to come back signed, no chasing calls weeks later. The signature flows into the service record; whether it appears in the PDF is up to your display options. The plant technician leaves the location, and the record is already complete.
Your record, your letterhead
Service records look like your business, not like a piece of software: you configure logo, sender and footnotes yourself, as well as which columns and fields appear in the PDF, down to the customer signature. Your own numbering scheme with prefix and format fits into your filing system.
By design, blueplant is not a billing tool: you mark appointments as invoiced and export service data for your ERP or accounting.
Automatically generated service records are part of Professional.
